Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.96%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.96% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 6.21% or 1,870.00 points to trade at 32,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 5.10% or 3,740.00 points to end at 77,100.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was up 3.37% or 2,950.00 points to 90,400.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 3.17% or 560.00 points to trade at 17,130.00 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 2.20% or 690.00 points to end at 30,640.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was down 1.66% or 43.00 points to 2,555.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 287 to 173 and 79 ended unchanged.

Shares in Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) rose to all time highs; up 3.37% or 2,950.00 to 90,400.00.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.19% or 0.13 to $68.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.21% or 0.15 to hit $71.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 11.30 to trade at $2,606.40 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.28% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.09% to 3.99.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 105.89.
