Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.35%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.35% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which rose 3.15% or 1,630.00 points to trade at 53,330.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) added 2.08% or 2,170.00 points to end at 106,380.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 2.01% or 1,600.00 points to 81,360.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 2.78% or 700.00 points to trade at 24,470.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 2.27% or 30.00 points to end at 1,290.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was down 2.03% or 4,080.00 points to 196,990.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 245 to 214 and 77 ended unchanged.

Shares in Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.15% or 1,630.00 to 53,330.00. Shares in Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) rose to all time highs; up 2.08% or 2,170.00 to 106,380.00.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 3.58% or 2.65 to $75.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 3.69% or 2.84 to hit $79.76 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 24.20 to trade at $2,715.00 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.68, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to 3.77.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 109.49.
